The New Secretary of Agriculture

Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack has been appointed by President-elect Obama to head up the USDA. The Organic Consumers Association (OCA) has a lot to say about this appointment. They say "his overall record is one of aiding and abetting Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) or factory farms and promoting genetically engineered crops and animal cloning."
